A brisk walk after supper

I have some catching up to do. Yesterday - 6th June, D Day - was hectic and the boys did us proud. But before I get to that , here's a couple from the evening of the 5th. John, Mike, Phil and I went out for a brisk walk after our lovely dinner at the Hotel de Paris in Courseulles. The weather had changed a little - a fresh, very fresh, wind blowing in from the sea. We found out on the 6th that the weather traditionally changes for the worse around D Day, like the bad weather that preceded and followed D Day itself.
Still, I'm sure the sea air did us good.
And in spite of the strong sea breeze, it felt like a gentle, peaceful sunset.
At the  going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
