A walk on Juno Beach

Our official day on the 6th June would start with the service at the Naval Memorial in Hermanville, preceded by lunch. So that left the morning (once the shoes were clean) fairly free, so we headed to the Juno Centre at Courseulles sur Mer. It was closed for the Canadian service at 11, but we managed a stroll on the beach. A beautiful morning.

The dunes were really stunning. It was breezy, but not cold. Hardly a cloud in the sky. Lovely.
